Melinda Evans is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where she received the Lawrason Driscoll Moot Court Award for her work as president of the Stanford Moot Court Board. She was also a class officer and a member of the editorial board for the Stanford Journal of International Law. Ms. Evans joined the firm in 2001, and practices in all areas of commercial litigation.
Prior to receiving her law degree, Ms. Evans taught college writing and literature courses in Utah, Massachusetts, and England. Ms. Evans received a B.A. and M.A. in English from Brigham Young University.
Melinda has published several academic papers, including a piece of original historic research about Belva Lockwood, the first woman admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
