Lisa Wegner focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, commercial litigation, appellate advocacy, bankruptcy and creditors' rights. Ms. Wegner earned her undergraduate degree in 1996 from Skidmore College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Theater. In 2000, Ms. Wegner earned her J.D. and Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.

Ms. Wegner is admitted to practice before all of the courts of the State of California, the United States Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Wegner joined the firm in 2003. Since joining Call, Jensen & Ferrell, Ms. Wegner has developed an extensive appellate practice.  She has briefed and argued numerous issues in various California appellate courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Supreme Court, where she most recently presented oral argument on behalf of Del Taco in the matter of Munson v. Del Taco, Inc. (Case No. S162818, argued May 6, 2009)



For the fifth year in a row, Ms. Wegner has been named by Los Angeles Magazine a “Rising Star” – a distinction reserved for just two and one-half percent of the attorneys in Los Angeles and Orange County. Rising Stars are lawyers who are under 40, or who have been practicing ten years or less, selected for excellence in the practice of law.
