Scot Wilson is an attorney at the law firm of Call, Jensen & Ferrell. Mr. Wilson practices in the areas of general business litigation, employment litigation, complex commercial litigation, and class actions.
Prior to joining the firm in November of 2005, Mr. Wilson handled a broad range of tort, employment, insurance, unfair competition, and commercial litigation matters with two Orange County firms. He also gained trial experience serving as a pro bono Deputy District Attorney with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office Trial Attorney Partnership Program.
Mr. Wilson graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002. While at Pepperdine, Mr. Wilson served as Note & Comment Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review. In addition, he received the First-Place Award in the 2002 Dalsimer Moot Court Competition. Mr. Wilson received the Best-Brief Award in the 2001 and 2002 Dalsimer Moot Court Competitions. Mr. Wilson served as a judicial extern to the Honorable William J. Rea, Senior District Judge in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1999, he earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Wilson is the author of Corporate Criticism on the Internet: The Fine Line Between Anonymous Speech and Cybersmear, 29 Pepp. L. Rev. 533 (2002) which was also published in Bowne’s Digest for Corporate and Securities Lawyers.
Mr. Wilson is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
