Delavan J. Dickson

Delavan J. Dickson joined Call & Jensen in October 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dickson clerked for the Honorable Dale S. Fischer, United States District Judge for the Central District of California. During his clerkship, Mr. Dickson worked on a wide variety of commercial litigation cases, including copyright, trademark, patent, and employment class actions.

Before his clerkship, Mr. Dickson was a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins. While at Latham, Mr. Dickson represented clients in a variety of business litigation matters, including trade secret cases, security class actions, and bankruptcy matters. He was also heavily involved in the firm’s pro bono practice, and successfully helped a mother of four acquire a U-Visa, a veteran obtain disability benefits after his service in the Marines, three children qualify for S.I.J.S. status, and provided assistance to the Williams Institute.

Mr. Dickson graduated with a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2007, and graduated with a B.A. in Politics from Pomona College in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Dickson completed an externship with the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, California, and was a board member of LAMBDA.

Mr. Dickson is admitted to practice in both New York and California.
