Jon E. Jensen attended Dartmouth College where he was on the Dean’s List each quarter, and Brigham Young University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Economics in 1971. He received a Master of Business Administration degree and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Stanford University in 1975, where he became a member of The Order of the Coif.

From 1975 to 1980, Mr. Jensen was an associate in the corporate department of O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. In 1980, he joined the firm of Drummy, Garrett, King & Harrison in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, California, becoming a partner there in February 1983. He became a principal of our firm in February 1984.

Mr. Jensen handles a wide variety of sophisticated contract and transactional matters including: federal and state securities law compliance; corporation and LLC formations, operations and dissolutions; business mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; venture capital financings and other equity offerings; institutional, secured, and other loan transactions; technology licenses and other intellectual property agreements; executive and employee plans and agreements; product distribution arrangements; and legal opinions.

During each year from 2005 - 2012, Mr. Jensen has been named as one of the Southern California Super Lawyers in the Business/Corporate category by Super Lawyers magazine.
