Kevin Holloway is a Senior Attorney at Call & Jensen whose employment defense practice is informed by something most outside counsel cannot offer: firsthand experience managing employment law at scale. Before entering private practice, Kevin served as Associate General Counsel at a publicly traded company operating skilled nursing facilities, where he oversaw employment law matters, investigations, and legal compliance for over 300 affiliated facilities and approximately 55,000 employees across multiple states. That in-house background gives him a practical, business-minded approach to employment law that his clients — from automobile dealerships to healthcare providers — rely on every day.

Kevin defends employers across the full spectrum of California and federal employment litigation in both single-plaintiff and class action matters, including:

• Wage and hour disputes and PAGA representative actions
• Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
• Wrongful termination defense
• Class action defense under state and federal law

He manages all stages of litigation — from initial complaint through final judgment or settlement — and has a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes through mediation, arbitration, and trial across a wide range of industries including automobile dealerships, construction, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

Beyond the courtroom, Kevin counsels employers on the day-to-day employment law issues that arise in running a California business, including:

Background

Before joining Call & Jensen, Kevin served as Associate General Counsel at a publicly traded skilled nursing facility operator, and prior to that practiced as an Associate Attorney at a boutique employment defense firm in Long Beach.
