Anurita Varma is a skilled litigator with a focus on business, intellectual property, and employment disputes. Ms. Varma’s clients have been pleased with her ability to secure early dismissals, favorable settlements and early resolutions, as well as summary judgment victories. Prior to joining Call & Jensen, Ms. Varma worked at a large national law firm where she focused her practice on high-profile, complex civil litigation matters.
Ms. Varma earned her Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of California, Davis School of Law. During law school, Ms. Varma served as a board member of Moot Court, and as the Senior Interview Editor for the Business Law Journal. She was also one of few law students selected for the Diversity Fellowship Program. Ms. Varma earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Ms. Varma’s hobbies include hot yoga, trying new restaurants, traveling, and socializing. She is also passionate about being active in her community, as she has served as the Executive Director of The Indus Entrepreneurs (an organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship within the South Asian community), and has been an active member of Girls, Inc. (an organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring girls to be smart, strong, and bold) and Women Helping Women (an organization that provides unemployed women with skills and resources necessary to secure employment).
