Morgan E. Podruski

Morgan Podruski’s practice centers around representing employers in wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination litigation, and advice and counsel matters. She has significant experience in all areas of employment law with an expertise in the defense of wage and hour class actions and representative actions under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). Ms. Podruski’s results include numerous favorable settlements for her clients and successful rulings on dispositive motions, including for complete summary judgment in representative PAGA actions.

Super Lawyers Magazine has named Ms. Podruski a “Rising Star” in every year since 2019. In 2022, she was also recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the “Up and Coming 50 Women” in Southern California. Before joining Call & Jensen in 2018, Ms. Podruski began her career advocating for plaintiffs in employment actions. Ms. Podruski’s prior experience as a plaintiff’s attorney allows her to better serve her corporate clients by anticipating opposing counsel’s strategy in litigation.

Ms. Podruski earned her Juris Doctorate in 2014 from the University of San Diego. While in law school, Ms. Podruski served as a comments editor on the Journal of Climate and Energy Law. Ms. Podruski obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and she completed the international program at the Institut d’Études Politiques in Paris, France.

Ms. Podruski is licensed to practice law both in California and Illinois.
