Eric W. Witt

Eric W. Witt is Senior Counsel with Call & Jensen.  He has substantial experience representing businesses in employment and commercial litigation and in arbitration.  Mr. Witt also advises employers on compliance with the myriad of California and federal employment laws and on the resolution of personnel matters.  Mr. Witt’s experience in employment litigation includes a wide range of single plaintiff claims in which claimants have alleged discrimination, harassment, “whistleblower” retaliation, wrongful termination, and failure to accommodate disabilities.  Mr. Witt also represents businesses defending against wage and hour class and representative actions, including under the Private Attorneys General Act.  With respect to commercial litigation, Mr. Witt has represented clients in contract, non-compete and trade secret, and business tort disputes.  He has obtained several jury verdicts in favor of employers defending against employment claims.  He also has obtained summary judgment in favor of his clients in multiple cases.

Mr. Witt earned his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and served as Articles Editor for the Washington Law Review.  He earned his B.A. from Washington and Lee University, graduating magna cum laude and with honors.
