Michael Kowsari
SENIOR COUNSEL
Michael M. Kowsari represents businesses facing high-stakes financial and legal challenges. He has advised clients across diverse industries, including real estate, entertainment, media, construction, and advertising. An experienced litigator, he has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. He is also a skilled appellate attorney, having successfully briefed and argued matters before state and federal appellate courts. Michael’s practice focuses on business disputes, intellectual property, labor and employment, real estate, right of publicity, and licensing issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kowsari practiced in the litigation department of Arent Fox’s Los Angeles office for nearly five years. He thereafter was Of Counsel in Jackson Lewis’ Irvine office.
Mr. Kowsari served as a law clerk to Judge Ronald Lee Gilman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and to Judge Stephen G. Larson United States District Court for the Central District of California. He graduated magna cum laude from UCLA and earned his juris doctorate with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Kowsari served as an editor on the Ohio State Law Journal.
