Scott R. Hatch is a shareholder with Call & Jensen. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Yale Law School in 2005. He was an Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation, President of the Yale Entertainment and Sports Law Association, and participated in the Morris Tyler Moot Court competition.  Mr. Hatch focuses his practice on business litigation and is an experienced trial attorney. His most recent trial successes include eight-figure jury verdicts involving misappropriation of intellectual property and executive misconduct.  Mr. Hatch has also achieved numerous complete defense verdicts for his corporate clients.  These successful verdicts have involved a variety of claims, including intellectual property, employment, insurance, contract, and trade secrets.

Mr. Hatch’s business litigation practice encompasses all aspects of business litigation and counseling. Mr. Hatch’s business litigation practice focuses on corporate governance, trade secrets, contract disputes, real estate litigation, and Proposition 65.  He also has extensive experience litigating and trying cases in the insurance industry.

Mr. Hatch has been repeatedly selected as a Southern California Rising Star according to SuperLawyers, including for the years 2009 and 2012-2017, which included being named a Top 25 Orange County Rising Star and Southern California Top 100 Rising Star for the years 2015 and 2016.

Mr. Hatch received his B.S. in Political Science and B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from the University of Utah in 2002. Mr. Hatch speaks proficient Thai. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Hatch clerked for the Honorable Ronald Nehring of the Utah State Supreme Court. He then practiced as an associate in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster’s Orange County office from 2006 until 2008 before joining Call & Jensen in 2008. Mr. Hatch is licensed to practice law in California and Utah.
